GREAT BREAK

Pete and I stayed over night in a place called Slaughters Inn in the Cotswolds for the racing experience, it used to be used for the Eton boys to study, it was a beautiful old building and great food, well worth staying there. I think it used to be called Washbourne House or something like that. I loved the little porches especially the house with the gate that suggests a fine for not shutting it, I might do that here, as people who leave my gates open here drive me nuts! Really stunning architectural details int he Cotswolds, lovely place. One village we visited was like we landed on another a planet, weeping willows over the river and cream teas and little bridges, people lying on blankets.....does anyone work??? it was the oddest feeling like I had just been dropped into marshmallow fluffy land where nothing was real!
