WEATHER!

Sorry to no have been able to update the blog, we have had as you probably are aware really bad storms, we have been without power a few landslides (not affecting buildings), no broadband and fighting the storms fixing things daily! I hope you are all ok where ever you are. In the short interlude of power and broadband I thought I would post a quick update! we have had trees down over 30,000 volt power cables that lit up the sky and a 20 man cutting crew all day some days plus specialist power people from wales and bristol trying to fix things, Par beach was only contained because of the taller sand dunes, most days no beach was visible and other places the sand has been carried away to form 3m high sand cliffs where the beach had once been… charlestown was hit hard with waves going over the top cottages…. as was the rest of Cornwall…Oh and i rescued this little bird form the storm, he's ok and flew off after a couple of hours rest and food. So thought I would post some pics while I can then off skiing for a week! Leaving the weather to laura!   thanks laura… hopefully it will have stopped when i get back!
