BIRD FEEDER

I made a swinging bird feeder with a protective roof while they eat the suet balls attached to the chain sides....I love it! might just be me tho??

3D AND THE CHAIR

Sounds like a movie eh... Petes mum and brother Colin came over the other day, nice to see them, some reality for a change, its been a nightmare at work the past few weeks and set to continue a while yet, just so busy sorting out things for projects to go on site etc, it is taking its toll a bit we are both doing very crazy things, like throwing socks in the loo instead of wash basket and having to fish them out!!! under pressure ha ha We introduced Pete's mum to 3D TV, a reclining chair and yogi bear all at once, she loved it, I wished she could have stayed until the end, maybe next time finish it off! Pam looked very comfortable! I think she might need to invest in one what with that and an ipad she will be well away!

CAT CLAN!

Here they are, waiting patiently...well not so patiently every morning for their breakfast, their lives consist of nothing but sleep, eat and playing....great lives eh... Smartie the grey and white is the mum, then came scrappy and smurf and then soon after squeaker and squiggly...one big chilled out happy cat
family!

STEAM TRAIN IN PAR

We rushed through the duck pond and up over the railway bridge to catch a glimpse at this old steam train and vast amounts of carriages, I wish we still had steam trains, doesn't really go with the sustainable lives we try and work towards tho, but there is something I really love about them, the romance of it all and the luggage... did I really just say luggage!... I love the hat boxes and matching cases, something I could never really do but love to see it, you almost want the people to get off in long dresses and big hats, not the men obviously! well I got in position to see it and take a picture, just after I got this shot the steam enveloped us and we couldn't see which way was up.... When the steam cleared and I was still wafting it away I realised that everyone was laughing at me after only being able to see my feet!

TALENT VERSES INSANITY!

I made these guys out of old bits and bobs in the workshop.. the latest edition is Hector he is the dude with the bow tie!! Pete reckons its a talent to make people laugh out of odds and ends.... so that means its a talent... right???? please don't say talent 0 insanity 1!!

WHO SAYS ROMANCE IS DEAD!

Pete saw this and thought of me!!! AAAHHH... a cute heart shaped worm hole!!!!! old romantic eh ha ha...he just told me to take off the old but its there now,....a blog is like a stone wall mason, pick up a stone and it has to fit somewhere.... well the blog is like that you have an instant thought and it comes out through your fingers before you know it!

TIRED SHADOW

Took Shadow on a little walk and she is a real drama queen she came down the field to work and reckoned she was shattered, she lay there for the whole time we were busy then as if by magic when it was time to go back up to the house she was lively as anything. I think she is a bit of a diva!!!

GRADUATION

Lauras graduation was last Friday and we managed to get a few more tickets last min so Mum and Aaron could go too. It was a very early start 4.45am and a long drive to Chichester but well worth it the day was lovely and great to see Laura graduate. We had all the celebrations when she got her results, but had to wait until now for the official ceremony!... Well Done Laura a hard three years, but you got there with great results we are all very proud of you, and of course I know you couldn't have done it without the constant support of home ha ha should have got you some red shoes and you have clicked your heels!.. I tried the hat on, probably the nearest I am going to get!!! you never know might win the lottery then I can have a go!

HEDGEHOGS!

Here is a picture of Keith and Myrnas hedgehogs I forgot to put it on, don't know how as its the cutest picture ever! I wish we had hedgehogs, I have made several houses for them but no luck!

WORKSHOP /STUDIO!

We have come up with a plan for the winter... its a long way down to the bottom field for my workshop, so we have come up with a plan to partition the garage/shed in half one half is for the wood working and the other an artists studio so Pete can start getting his head around painting!...lucky made her bed in the corner so I guess she is moving in too!... We are having a break from it at the mo as Pete put an electric screwdriver through his thumb so work has halted for a mo!

COFFEE STOP

Well coffee stops and breakfast stops have been a bit sparse over the last two weeks what with Helen and Dave from Lakeside Cafe off gadding about Cyprus! Be glad when they are back! But we did find a suitable drinking hole for Sunday morning, not quite the same but it will do for the time being ha ha Gem seemed to like it and Shadow always glad of a rest... the signet however was less than impressed and the squirrel seemed to spend the whole time running up and down the tree shaking its tail??!!!

CHILLED CATS

COOL GRASSHOPPER!

I found george the grasshopper on Buttercup Cottage's light, he was a very friendly bug, and didn't really go in for the whole jumping thing, just preferred to walk onto my hand. Why are all the animals nuts in this place!

WHO'S HAD ALL THE PIES?

It appears squeaker has, she lays about all day like lady muck, just shouting to be fed and not much else really!

NICE

Memories are heartbeats

that linger through the years.

Echoes never fading,

of our smiles and our tears.

Life is a collection of these memories to share,

a happiness inside that will always be there.

ST IVES

Had a meeting in St.Ives and quite a lot happened in our lunch break! The seagulls were playing in the surf, seeing who could surf in the best without getting smashed into the wall! and one who wanted us to capture his best side and I told him not to pinch my chips and I will take a good picture if he stands up tall.....and he did!!! very odd seagulls down there!! then there was the seal saga, there were seals in really close to the beach and the grey one looked like a pup in trouble, it wasn't moving much, after watching it for a good while, I phoned it in, as the black one kept coming back to it as if to say "come on are you ok?" But after speaking to the dive rescue team, it became apparent that the seal was a female and was sunbathing and the male black one was getting impatient!!! See its the same for every species! I did feel a fool calling it in tho for a sunbathing seal! Oh well, I wouldn't have forgiven myself if it was injured! But it was a lovely day down there, cold but sunny. We had time to peep in a couple of galleries too!!!
