SWIMMING

A quick swim before their haircut later, they will have their summer look later on this afternoon! very swish, only Gem always looks quite put out with hers, Shadow loves hers tho and Lucky looks like a new dog! But a lovely swim was had by all...well not me its far too cold!

COLD?

I said to Pete that the temperature had dropped and we needed the heat on as my feet were cold... this is petes answer!!! He put his jumper arms over our feet and we had to sit like this! Good job no one comes to our house int he evening they would think we are even more barking than they think!

NEW SOFA?

But who for, the sofa came for the kitchen and within 2 minutes the cats appeared from no where and took control of it!! good job they cant work the recliner or we would never get them out!

THE START OF SOMETHING BIG??

I found this in the laundry its the start of a huge wasps nest, good job i spotted it!! it didnt take them long to get to this stage!

LAND TRAIN

Thinking it might be happening again soon, mum got tickets to go on it but we couldn't it was too late. But they seem to think they will run another one soon, it goes from Par docks to fowey through a very long tunnel! Ill keep my eyes open for another chance!

HAPPY GOATS!

Are all our animals naughty!... The goats are always up to no good too, they love it out with the ponies when we clean them out on a weekend, Studley has his not amused face on but he loves them really.You dont want to get in between their heads tho!

SHADOWS LIFE

Shadow is either laid on the beach or sat very comfortably outside the mill and doesn't really venture to far, if it doesn't involve the car she's not interested, every day we have a job getting her on the walk once she realises there is no turning back she quite enjoys it and loves it on the beach but she just cant face the start of it. Coming back she is great, just a difficult dog!!! oh and her favourite pass time is eating french bread in bed!!

SUMMER!

Summer...It arrived at the weekend, and hopefully hasn't ended yet! But lit the fire pit again, but this time it was warmer and Pete and I sat round it thinking we were on holiday, it was great, sat there until we were well and truely smoked! HOping for warm weather as Keith, Myrna, Jim and Caroline coming and they are usually our lucky charms,so fingers crossed!

GREAT PLACE TO LIVE

We walk to the beach most days, along the river down to the sea for the dogs to have a paddle, its a flat walk and highly recommend it, really pretty walk and you see a lot of animals along the way. Shadow is even trying to have a smile on her face! even tho she messes me about rolling before she agrees to go on the walk.

NICE BOAT!

Had a bite to eat at Fowey and say this lovely little boat advertising the life bouy cafe! Laura serves ice cream and fish and chips in the take away on the quay whilst waiting to do her post grad at Marjons in September... If in doubt when you go there, she is the one that cant see over the counter properly and has to climb in to get the ice cream flavours at the front!!
, so if you go down there do her a favour and have what ever flavour is closest!!! Not sure how the fish and chips will be her first attempt got stuck to the fryer floor, but I think she has mastered the art now ha ha

VISITOR

The monster had arrived and was sitting snuggly on our sofa! next doors cat is so dippy it doesnt realise that our cats think it is a devil in disguise!.. They gang up by the door when its outside and all sit and moan at it, and when it dares to come in they fly upstairs as if the cat has a desire to kill...no she just wants to eat and sit on the sofa, but when it happens you think its the end of the world with our cats.

WE KNOW HOW TO LIVE!

We spent a whole weekend helping Miguel to do a vault experiment. It was tideous to say the least, only the drying time the actual experiment was good. I have no patience at the best of times, but waiting for the plaster to go off, meant you had to hold each individual tile for at least 3 mins and there were hundreds of them. It was enjoyable really just the holding time was painful! Couldnt walk after it tho crouched over for hours, not used to being so still! But great little project shame it had to be dismantled after tho, be a great tortoise house ha ha hint hint!

WE HAVE A NEW LAUNDRY

All finished we don't hang around a neat little laundry tucked in the flower bed, which houses the washer/dryer and extra freezer space. It does the job perfectly!

MILL COMPLETE

The Mill is just about there we have a lot of filling to do after all the wood moved, but that will be in September or when ever we get to it! But really pleased with it. Great  space to live in. Even Squeaker thinks so!

WALKIES??

Perhaps not, I mentioned the word walkies to these two and the faces on them suggest they arent so keen for walkies today!!

WOODSTORE COMPLETE

Its been a manic few weeks and no time to sign in, but should be getting back to normal soon. The store is now complete and I have all my treasurers safely stored inside, Cant wait to make more especially with Dads tools, I should be able to make lots out of the oddities I have collected!!! Well the roof is an anthracite colour and its better than black as it blends in a lot more with the surroundings whilst still doing a great job!

Close up of the store and side area which is actually huge but looks quite neat tucked away and doesn't jump out at you, we even have a picnic table in the paddock to have a cuppa with the ponies or a break from work! Love it!!!

OH and this is a quick fish! as we had a shower and I was waiting for it to stop to finish the roof!!! Yes you can tell its a fish, don't want any of that nonsense!!!!
